North Wales Police are continuing to reduce Bicycle Crime with a 43% reduction from 2012 to current day but more work is needed to reduce this type of crime further.

Owners of bicycles need to make sure that they have their prize possessions property marked and this can be done through forensic marking, security skins and UV pens they also need to register their bikes on BikeRegister PNC for bicycles www.BikeRegister.com – Your Community Safety Department within North Wales Police will mark your bicycles for free.

Cycle Pods
These are the most secure bicycle storage units available are highly secured and robust, the pod offers maximum bike protection. The street pod has the ability to secure the bike frame and both wheels with a single lock. Cycle pods have been installed in a couple of places in Wrexham Town; Outside the Guild Hall, Outside Crown Buildings and two lots outside Water World.
