Cyclepods designed this specific project for two sets of Island Spacepods, complete with a specially designed, elongated glass canopy for shelter, at Doncaster Civic Centre.
The client wanted a form of bike storage that would stand out and make a statement in a bid to encourage cyclists to the Civic Centre and accommodate existing cyclists. The area desired for the project was on an un-level piece of land and so this had to be taken carefully into consideration when drawing up plans for the project.
We came up with this striking design based on an amalgamation of two of our products, the Spacepod and our flagship product, The Cyclepod.
