Coronavirus COVID-19 statement regarding business continuity
Update 25.3.20
In response to Monday night’s (23.3.20) update from the Government, Cyclepods have closed our offices entirely and all of our office based staff are now working from home.
With regards to our installation team, we have suspended all our construction work for the next 3 weeks at least. This is in line with government guidance that people must maintain a minimum 2 metre distance between each other, something we cannot guarantee working onsite. We will, of course, do everything possible to mitigate consequential delays, and we are working on a recovery plan as the situation unfolds.
We will continue to liaise with project teams as our operations department are working from home and are in contact via the usual emails, and our phones continue to be manned.
Online orders may unfortunately be subject to delivery delays due to manufacturing plants closing and reductions in delivery services. Please contact us directly either by e-mail or phone for specific product delivery information; we may not be able to give you an immediate answer, but will come back to you as soon as we can.
Update 20.3.20
Whilst we are doing everything in our power to maintain business as usual, our priority is the health and safety of our staff and others.
It is becoming apparent that it may be impossible to completely avoid disruption during the current coronavirus outbreak as employees, suppliers and customers are needing to self-isolate when necessary. This may cause delays in supply chains and onsite, however Cyclepods will provide updates where necessary and will be entirely forthcoming as and when issues may arise.
We will work with all our customers to ensure a solution that suits the ongoing situation with safety as our top priority. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
Statement 17.3.20
Cyclepods take the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, customers and stakeholders seriously and are implementing safeguarding measures during the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak in line with government guidance.
We would like to reassure all stakeholders and customers that we are still operating and have protocols in place to ensure business continuity.
At this current time, no employees have tested positive for COVID-19. Staff presenting any associated symptoms are being instructed to self-isolate as per government and WHO guidance.
We are limiting the amount of staff in our office to a minimum to separate them as much as possible, those who can work remotely are being encouraged to do so and measures have been put in place so that our business can operate as usual. Our phone lines are still open and all email addresses are being monitored.
Cyclepods are minimising the amount of site visits we conduct, we will only be able to undertake a site visit where absolutely necessary. Our in-house design team are trained to guide customers remotely on how to provide us with necessary information for drawings and plans.
We are offering our CPD service online via. screen-sharing, however we will not be providing on-site CPDs until further notice.
Our installation team is still operating as usual. Employees have been briefed on COVID-19, symptoms, and preventative measures as per government guidance to minimise risk of spreading infection. We are working with our customers to ensure strict adherence to these measures on site to protect our staff and others.
All online orders are being fulfilled with the usual lead times and delivery processes. We are working with suppliers to predict and avoid any disruption in stock ordering and processing.
